Val and Bob came to town!

We had an amazing time with my MOR and FOR...Mother Once Removed and Father Once Removed.  My aunt and uncle are amazing and so adventurous.  We hiked 4 out of the 5 days they were here- all of them hikes Ed and I had never done before.  We had lazy mornings and listened to classical music in order to make Plumpers real smart.  We toured Salt Lake and the Farmer's Market and the Park Silly Market.  We saw two MOOSE!  We took the High West whiskey tour and learned new things.  I neglected homework for a week.  They came to our first midwife appt with us which was really special to have family to share the experience and hear the heart beat with us.  We finished the week out at the Red Iguana and it did not disappoint.  It was an awesome, jam packed week.  We're so thankful for their visit!
Lots of wildflowers at Mt. Aire.

  1. The Deckers were the greatest hosts. Nice pics too. We thoroughly enjoyed the different aspecs of the SLC area, both rural and uban. Loved every minute of the trip. We now have to find some babies to practice our hugging and squeezing skills on, hope to have it mastered by Feb. It was thrilling to hear Plumper's thumper. Love, MOR & FOR
